Hey there friends! I thought I should introduce myself with a little about me passage if I'm going to start using this blog.

I'm Ashley ;-) my journey through life has been a bit mosaic...mix-matched and beautiful.

As I’m approaching the big 4-0, I've found myself contemplating the relentless passage of time and trying to savor every precious moment along the way. Turning Forty has me hyper focused on how fast it all really goes.

For the last decade, I've been an insurance agent for SoCal AAA. While it's been a fulfilling journey and I adore my clients, my heart yearns for adventure and freedom. Alas for now insurance is my career.

I have a passion for gardening, travel, concerts, and basking in the warmth of the sun. My soul finds solace in the simple joys of life and nature but nevertheless my days are filled by the hustle and bustle.

Born and raised in the Golden State, I've called six different cities home. Growing up I recognized being lucky to grow up here swimming in the ocean or playing in the mountain top snow. However, CA is undeniably being destroyed by poor politics and it’s demise is heavy on my heart. The California landscape has shaped my upbringing and now I don’t see myself staying here forever. 

While I have many friends; I have two true best friends; Carly and Heather are my anchors. From kindergarten antics to navigating the tumultuous waters of adulthood, these two have stood by my side through thick and thin.

Heather and I co-own the Fringe Culture Collective, a venture that adds a splash of color and fun to our lives, even amidst the challenges posed by the ever-changing consumer landscape.

I met my husband at 29 while living wild and free with no intention of settling down, but somehow a steak dinner turned into a lifetime of shared adventures. I went to his house for dinner and basically never left. From traveling foreign lands to creating a loving home for our daughter, Sailor (or SaySay, as we affectionately call her) he’s been my person I didn’t know I needed. And speaking of parenthood, it wasn't an easy journey, but with the help of modern medicine and a sprinkle of hope, our little miracle joined us and we became a family of three in 2018- life was forever changed for the better. 

I describe myself as a coffee addict, kind, fun, and unapologetically real. I'm not everyone's cup of tea, but for those who dare to venture into my inner circle, I'm a ride-or-die companion through life's twists and turns. So, here I am, a blend of contradictions and complexities, but aren't we all?
