Sailor’s First Day of Kindergarten: A Perfect Start!

Well, it’s official – Sailor is a kindergartner (back in August)! She was beyond excited for her first day, decked out in her brand-new Pink and white checkered Vans and looking adorable in her uniform. I couldn’t help but marvel at how grown-up she looked as she bounced out the door, ready to see her friends. Oh, with matching pink and white checkered backpack!

We were lucky enough to get the teacher we requested, and Sailor was thrilled to find out that not only did she have the best teacher ever (seriously, so patient and kind), but she also had a bunch of her TK friends in her class. She went into her new classroom full of excitement (maybe a bit of nerves), ready for a day of learning and play.

Her teacher’s classroom is a Pinterest-perfect kindergarten dream—colorful, organized, and filled with everything a 5-year-old could love. It was the perfect space for her to settle into her new routine.

Not only did Sailor have an amazing first day, but that night, she also lost her first tooth! Talk about a milestone day! She’s growing up and starting the year off with a bang. We couldn’t be prouder of her! Here’s to many more adventures and exciting firsts in kindergarten!
